i have a goal

today i have a goal. it is to eat a doughnut. lofty, i know. you see, getting a doughnut means i must get myself on the trolley, go downtown and move my feet to dunkin doughnuts.

ladies and gentlemen, i have no job and am lazy. the first few days of unemployment were great, i made stuff and wore matching outfits. then, i discovered that family ties comes on at 1:30 and the tyra banks show isn't that bad. micah would come home at 6:30 to find his shell of a wife in a sleeping bag on the couch watching cable access with her cereal bowl from her (late) morning breakfast still sitting out. sad, no?

but today, today, today i have a goal. also, i met with some funny people last week and have been invited to perform in a sketch comedy show at a new comedy club. i'm also supposed to write some stuff too. as i have been filling my mind with garbage for weeks, i have no ideas. most of the things i think about are what i would wear if i was a guest on oprah, what i would say, etc... ideas for sketches would be appreciated.

i start working again on the 3rd and have my first rehearsal tonight. i'm off to achieve my goal. goodbye!
