i am obsessed with popcorn

i am obsessed with popcorn. really. i can't get enough. jessica suggested all sorts of ways i could enjoy popcorn more (seasonings, cheese, etc.) but for now i have just been sticking to butter and salt. mmmmm...

i had a good day today. i gave two tours today. they went a lot better than yesterday's tours. yesterday, i gave a tour to some rowdy teens from new york. they said "chill" a lot. at the end of the tour i said "we're just going to chill here for a second." the moment i said it i felt stupid. i couldn't help it.

today i also spent four hours working in the museum store with my co-worker craig. craig is from philly; he knows everything about the phillies, where to get the best cheesesteaks, calls marinara sauce "gravy" and says "yous" (as in, "how yous doin'?"). craig is philly all the way. so, we were working in the store and were kind of bored, so i taught craig how to play "celebrity situations".

(celebrity situations is a game micah and i made up. the way you play is that one player makes up a scenerio in which the other player is a celebrity and is in a tricky situation. the player who is the celebrity has to decide how and why they would handle the situation. have i talked about this before? i feel like i have. is anyone even reading this?)

so craig was really reluctant about playing the game. long story short, craig and i played celebrity situations for four solid hours. i even got him to sing the song. as i am an advanced player, the situations i gave him were far superior (one included time travel), but he did a really good job and really made me think long and hard about how i would handle myself if i were a celebrity.
